As China seeks to distance itself from North Korea and its mercurial boy leader, its relationship with South Korea is set to change dramatically. This will become even clearer at the end of the month, when South Korea’s new president, Park Geun-hye, visits Beijing to meet China’s new president, Xi Jinping.
