The latest from Chris Devonshire-Ellis is now up and running. Not long after getting to China, I recall talking to an expat lawyer in Vietnam. After hearing some of his war stories, I noted at the time that the legal system for foreign investment there sounded just like China, if you go back a few years. In other words, there seem to be some common issues with countries transitioning away from command economies.

Anyway, that’s the idea of the site.
