James Fallows gets credit for actually making the recent “elections” here interesting. Well, maybe not so interesting, but he does come up with a decent joke:
Essay question: In what basic way did these NPC elections resemble the Democrats’ presidential primary in Michigan two months ago, and what does this suggest about the way globalization is bringing us all together?
Ha ha. It’s funny ’cause it’s true, except for the bit about globalization.
