Asian Markets Up Sharply Wednesday

Asian markets were sharply higher Wednesday, with solid gains across the board. Some attributed the strength to a report the U.K. government was drafting a bill to nationalize troubled bank Northern Rock, which traders took as a message losses from a U.S. subprime mortgage crisis may be limited.
