PetroChina Shares Skyrocket Overnight: What Overhang?

One of the best performing stocks overnight was PetroChina (PTR). A news story attributed the 8% rise to reports that Berkshire Hathaway has now "now sold its entire stake in China's top oil producer, effectively removing an overhang on the stock."
